Fairtex opened its first gym in 1975 in Bangkok by Mr. Bunjong Busarakamwongs, the founder and Chairman of Fairtex group of companies. Mr. Bunjong, or fondly known as Philip Wong, has a great love and passion for Muaythai since he was a young boy. Through his vision and guidance, Fairtex grew by leaps and bounds from a small camp in Suan Pru, in the outskirts of Bangkok to a respected international Muaythai institution comprising of branches spanning across the globe.

A highly esteemed figure in the Muaythai world, Mr. Wong is also a promoter of the well renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium and he is the owner of the famous Theprasit Boxing Stadium at Pattaya. With hard work and great dedication, Fairtex Muaythai camp in Thailand rapidly gained the reputation in the international scene as the best Muaythai camp in Thailand.

As the popularity of Muaythai sport grew, Fairtex expanded to the United States and Japan to accommodate the needs of Muaythai enthusiast. Over the years, Fairtex has produced and trained more than 30 World and Muaythai champions.
